On the 19th of february we had our second day of filming, with all the characters this time, we then got a real feel for what our final product would be like once we add all the shots that we done that day together with future filming, but we still have so much more filming to do.
The first shot we filmed was the point of view shot of Pixie Mitchell, our female protagonist.
when filming this shot we tried to make it look as real as possible, as in we shook the camera slightly to give the effect of her point of view as she ran. we only had to have 2 takes of this shot because it wasnt difficult to do this shot. we then started to film our long shot of pixie mitchell, over the shoulder shot of pixie and our midshot of pixie.

We 1st started filming on the 31st of January, of which acted as our trial run for our thriller movie, just to test out the camera, practise the shots and to get a feel for our surroundings.
Overall we were rather happy, however we thort it would be better to film it later on in the day, as we started filming at 2 in the afternoon. we felt that it wasn't dark enough for our movie, so didn't create that thriller movie effect.
We should properly start filming, between the dates of the 15th of february and the 21st of february.

Location
For our location we wanted our thriller movie to be based in a forest, or a place with greenery, we wanted open space, so that it seemed deserted. We picked an area that was not only perfect in image but also it would be convenient for all of us and it is close to the home for one of our members of NASA PICTURES. It didn't however have leaves in the background, which wasn't such a huge issue, as it was just for extra effect. However if these surroundings didnt work wer had an alternative, which was only as a second resort if we wern't happy with our first choice of senery.

Casting notes with photos
When looking for who to cast for our thriller movie, straight away we had two people we thought would be more than great for the part, not just because they are brilliant actors but also because they are trust worthy, so we knew that we could rely on them to put in more than a 100% of dedication into our movie. We decided on James Glover for our Male Protagonist and Katerina Christodoulou as our Female Protagonist. However when deciding who we wanted to cast, we didn’t consider, whether they had other priorities on the days that we would be filming, this was a problem for our female actor Katerina, as she had other responsibilities, for example she worked. Having this issue we decided to use someone from our production team, NASA PICTURES. We decided to cast AnnaLuisa, only due to the fact that Katerina had other priorities.

Our questionnaire.
From our survey we found, that 9/10 people enjoy a thriller movie, and many thriller movies were given, for example, Die Hard, Matrix, Jaws, The Eye, but the thriller movies that came up the most were, Pulp Fiction, Sixth sense and the classic, Phone Booth.
When we asked what it is about thriller movies that the audeince like or dislike, the most common answer was that the openining of a thriller movie, either plays mysterious music,
or scary music, which gives the audience an impression that something bad is going to happen. Other answers included were that there is alot of action in thriller movies which keep the audience entertained.
when we asked what feeling the audience got from watching a thriller movie, the most common answers were; they felt on the edge of their seats, felt scared, however we also got the odd bordem when watching a thriller movie.
when asked what the main element that a thriller movie requires, many people said the music in the openning of the movie says alot about what to expect throughout the film. many people also said a thriller movie wont be a thriller movie unless you have people creeping in the shadows, or reflections of a mysterious figure in a mirror, these all help o create the atmosphere in a thriller movie.
Finally, when asked what music sets the mood for a thriller movie, obviously many people said that mysterious music is the main key, as it puts you on the edge of your seat from the beginning of the film, however quite a few people believed that urban music also set the mood for a thriller film, as urban music can be quite harsh and can also be quite mysterious.

Our first shot in our thriller movie is a point of view shot of Pixie mitchell (our female character's) feet. dialogue in this shot: 'No, No gosh' ( this is just an idea) you will also hear heavy breathing, from Pixie as she runs. other camera shots include; panning shoy, as there will be alot of movement with the camera as pixie will be running with the camer as it is a point of view shot of her feet. This shot will last for 7 seconds.
Our Second shot is of our production name, NASA PICTURES, there is no dialogue and no sound. This shot last for 4 seconds.
Our third shot again is a point of view shot of Pixie's feet, similar dialogue and similar camera movement. This shot lasts for 6 seconds.
Our fourth shot is a credit of our female actors name, of which we made up as we were still contemplating who we were going to cast as our female protagonist. No dialogue or sound. This shot lasts for 4 seconds.
Our fifth shot is an arc shot, of our male protagonist, of which he is stood very still, the camera then moves to Pixie Mitchell, the sound at this point is heavy breathing, there is also dialogue, of which we still need to work on. This shot lasts for 8 seconds.
Our sixth shot is another credit, this time of our male actor, there is no sound or dialogue. This shot lasts for 4 seconds.
Our seventh shot is an over the shoulder shot of both the characters, there is no dialogue at this point, there is only the sound of leaves under Pixie's feet. Camera is going to be unsteady as it acts as Pixie's view. This shot lasts for 5 seconds.
Our eighth shot is a credit to acknowledge our cast and crew. this shot lasts for 4 seconds.
Our Nineth shots are: a worms eye shot, a mid shot, a point of view shot and a close up. Dialogue is similar to previous shots, sound again is also similar to previous shots. Camera does a point of view shot (the male)of Pixie mitchell falling to the floor and the male protagonist walking towards her. This shot lasts for 9 seconds.
Our final shot is a close up shot of Pixie's face as she screams of which the camera does an extreme close up of her face then the image goes pitch black. No dialogue at this point, and the only sound you hear is of Pixie screaming. This shot last for 3 seconds.
